ANOTHER head teacher has publically hit out at Herefordshire Council's plan to close or merge 37 schools across the county.
Vicky Hancock, head of Shobdon primary - one of the schools named in the plan - said the situation was "unbelievable".
Shobdon could soon be boosted by another 35 new homes on a site within walking distance of the school.
"Yet these proposals will deny prospective and long-established families the opportunity to access education within their own vibrant village community," said Mrs Hancock.
