I AM another elderly person who does not drive, is lucky enough to be on a limited bus route but otherwise depend on Hi-Town taxis for transport on a regular basis.
RELEVANT NEWS:
The weekly shop, the all important injections, collection of medication, weekly visit to see my husband in his residential nursing home, the Christmas day visit to the nursing home and other necessary one off journeys.
Non of which could be carried out without the taxi.
I have never yet seen a taxi driver get lost!
This is the modern age when sat navs can be used.
I have seen the frustration when taxis are stuck in the big traffic snarl ups that blight Hereford making them very late for the next pickup.
Not their fault.
Please do not frighten the drivers away, they are a lifeline for many.
