RESTAURANTS and takeaways in Herefordshire's market towns feature strongly on the list of TripAdvisor’s best-rated Chinese eateries in the county.
We have looked at the top five, as reviewed by TripAdvisor users.
New Jasmine House in Credenhill
1. New Jasmine House
Set in the Herefordshire village of Credenhill, the New Jasmine House has hit the right notes for many diners, with 79 of its 105 TripAdvisor reviewers rating it excellent or very good.
“All the staff were friendly, and the service was prompt. Food was delicious, well cooked and plenty of vegetables included in the dishes. A great atmosphere,” wrote ChristinaB3423.
“If you are going out for a meal now covid restrictions have relaxed please consider this family run restaurant instead of a chain.”
2. New Lucky House
Set in Holmer street, 36 of New Lucky House’s 47 reviewers rate the Chinese takeaway as excellent or very good.
“We always phone our order through and it's ready when we get there,” wrote Michael-4551.
“The meals are always great and reasonably priced, what more do you want.”
Indyyum restaurant offers a fusion of Indian and Chinese food
3. Indyyum Restaurant
Offering a fusion of Indian and Chinese dishes, Indyyum in Ross's High Street was rated as excellent or very good by 28 of its 33 TripAdvisor reviewers.
“We loved the fusion of Indian and Chinese food and nothing disappointed. All three of us had different foods and we were all really happy with our choices,” wrote Nicki-Diamond.
“The food was fresh, succulent and very tasty. Portion sizes just right and the staff attentive at just the right level. We also loved the decor and atmosphere. A definite 5 out of 5 from all three of us.”
Dragon House in Ross-on-Wye
4. Dragon House
22 of the 25 diners who took to TripAdvisor to review Ross-on-Wye's Dragon House, in Brookend Street, rated it excellent or very good.
“The food was brilliant. Delivered very quickly, the service was brilliant, and the delivery driver was so polite,” wrote jackdQ565900.
“The food tasted outstanding. Would definitely recommend.”
Shun Fat in Bromyard
5. Shun Fat
Set in Old Road in Bromyard, this takeaway has been rated as excellent or very good by 36 of its 74 TripAdvisor reviewers.
“Have been using the Shun Fat for many years and even though I have moved away from the area it is still the best, and I travel over specially to get my takeaways,” wrote 91jodi.
“Always cheerful and hard working.”
