A DRUG-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after they were caught while more than four times the limit in Herefordshire.
Antoine Tirant entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 32-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf in Ross-on-Wye's Ledbury Road while over the drug-drive limit on May 11.
An evidential blood test revealed Tirant had 9.1 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
Tirant, of Mulwych Road, Birmingham, was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £120, and must pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
