A WEATHER warning for wind is set to come into force in Herefordshire as Storm Barra approaches.
The yellow warning, which covers much of the UK, is due to come into force at 9am tomorrow (December 7), and will remain in place for the rest of the day.
Met Office forecasters said a deep area of low pressure moving in across the UK from the Atlantic is likely to bring high winds to many parts of the UK.

Strong winds will arrive in the west through the morning, spreading inland and reaching eastern areas through the afternoon and early evening.
Gusts of 45-50 mph are expected widely, with 60-70 mph in exposed coastal locations before the strongest winds start to ease across inland areas overnight.
The storm, which is the second named storm of the season after Storm Arwen, has been named as Storm Barra by Met Éireann for the level of impacts expected for the Republic of Ireland.
