A HEREFORDSHIRE man charged with murder has appeared in court for the first time.
Ajay Price, of Wellington Lane, Canon Pyon, was arrested and charged after the death of 51-year-old Carl Dyche, from Kington.
It was alleged that Price, 19, killed Mr Dyche on Thursday in Greenfields, in the north Herefordshire town.
Appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Monday for the first time since being charged with one count of murder, and was remanded in custody.
Wearing a dark Parka coat during the short hearing, Price was told he would next appear at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday.
West Mercia Police said a second man, John Locke, 33, of Greenfields, Kington, was also charged with grievous bodily harm.
He appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Saturday, December 4, and was also remanded.
A third man, a 29-year-old from Kington, was also arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
