CAR owners have been handed hefty penalties after failing to tell police who was behind the wheel when offences were believed to have been committed in Herefordshire.
Here is who has been up before the magistrates:
Robert John Milton, 58, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Milton had failed to identify the driver of a Vauxhall who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Herefordshire to police on June 9.
Milton, of Hengham Road, Birmingham, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Harry McCaffrey, 25, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard McCaffrey had failed to identify the driver of a Ford who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Herefordshire to police on June 9.
McCaffrey, of Glossop Road, Hayfield, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
