THE number of patients in hospital with Covid-19 during November at the Wye Valley NHS Trust was higher than during the same period last year.
NHS England data shows 57 people were admitted to hospital with Covid-19 or were diagnosed in hospital with coronavirus for the first time at Wye Valley NHS Trust between November 1 and November 28 – the latest available data.
This was six more than 51 in the same period in 2020.
There were 21 patients in Herefordshire hospitals with coronavirus on November 30.
Of these there were no coronavirus patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator on November 30.

Latest coronavirus figures for Herefordshire show that 94 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on December 7.
Between December 1 and December 7, 844 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This shows an increase of 29.1% compared to the previous seven days.
Between December 1 and December 7, there have been one death within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
