A RACIALLY abusive man has been handed a community order after an incident in a Herefordshire town.
Daniel Wood was found guilty after previously entering a not guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard 41-year-old Wood had used racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words and behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm, or distress towards another man in Kington on April 19.
Wood, of Ridgemoor Road, Leominster, was handed a six-month community order, a two-year restraining order, and a £50 fine. He must also pay costs of £200 and a £95 victim surcharge.
