A MAN has been sentenced after sexually touching a woman without consent in Herefordshire.
Petrisor Cojocaru was found guilty after previously entering a not guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard 57-year-old Cojocaru had intentionally sexually touched a woman aged 16 or over without consent and while he did not reasonably believe she was consenting in Herefordshire on December 19.
He had also attempted to sexually touch a woman aged 16 or over without consent and without reasonable belief that she was consenting in Herefordshire on December 21.
Cojocaru, of Cornwall Road, Birmingham, was handed a three-month curfew with electronic tag, an 18-month community order, and must sign the sex offenders register for five years.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £250, and costs of £500.
