- Traffic in Hereford was gridlocked after two crashes caused delays.
- The first crash has happened on Ross Road, with the second on the northbound carriageway of Greyfriars Bridge.
- Greyfriars Bridge was closed northbound, with delays stretching back four miles to Aconbury.
- The southbound side of the bridge was converted into a lane heading in either direction.
- A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and dangerous driving after crashing into a man on a mobility scooter causing him serious injuries.
- Police were called to the crash on the A49 near the Asda store in Hereford at 7.05am this morning (Wednesday).
- The road was re-opened shortly before 2pm.
