A HEADTEACHER at two Herefordshire school has retired after more than 35 years of teaching.
St Michael's CE Primary School in Bodenham, near Leominster, said its executive headteacher Beverley Donald retired this week after teaching around the county.
Miss Donald, who was also executive headteacher at Burley Gate CE Primary School, between Bromyard and Hereford, had also taught at Kingstone and Ledbury.
Her career spanned more than 35 years, with the last five spent at the Bodenham school alongside Burley Gate.
"Miss Donald will be greatly missed by both schools," St Michael's said.
"She has touched a great deal of lives over the years, making more of a difference than she realises.
"The photo shows her with Charlie and Jake, the oldest and youngest children at St. Michael's C E Primary School, Bodenham."
