HEREFORD'S supermarkets are cutting their hours over the next week, with some not open on Boxing Day.

Asda, in Belmont Road, will be open until 7pm on Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day, and then back open on Boxing Day between 11am and 5pm.

It will then be open 8am until 8pm Monday and Tuesday.

The Tesco supermarkets, in the city centre and Belmont, will close at 7pm on Friday and reopen between 10am and 4pm on Sunday. They will be open 8am to 6pm Monday and Tuesday.

Station Approach's Morrisons will shut at 6pm on Christmas Eve and reopen Monday and Tuesday from 7am until 10pm.

Sainsbury's, off Whitecross Road, will also be shut for two days at 7pm on Friday. Bank holiday hours are 8am until 8pm.

Waitrose, in Old Market, will be reopen on the bank holidays from 9am until 6pm after closing at 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Aldi and Lidl, in Whitecross Road and Commercial Road, will both be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day after shutting at 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Lidl will be open from 8am until 10pm on the bank holidays, and Aldi 8am until 8pm.
