HEREFORDSHIRE'S most crime-ridden areas have been revealed in data from the police.
We have put together a map to help you explore every crime reported between March and August, while below are the top three areas where the most crimes have been reported in Herefordshire.
Hereford central
Hereford's central region, which covers the College Estate, the bus station and County Hospital, Edgar Street, the Old Market shopping centre, High Town, the cathedral, and St James, is top of the list, with 33.45 crime reports per 100 residents between March and August 2021.
A total of 316 violent and sexual offences were reported in the area during the period, 88 public order offences, 42 reports of criminal damage and arson, six vehicle crimes, 49 reports of shoplifting, and 45 'other' thefts.
It was also the worst area for burglaries, with 17 reported, drugs crimes, with 25 reports, thefts from the person, with 14 reports, and weapons possession, with eight offences reported.
No anti-social behaviour reports or robberies are logged in the area.
Leominster central
Leominster's central region, which covers South Street, West Street, Burgess Street, Etnam Street, High Street, and the Station Industrial Estate is next on the list, with 14.11 crimes per 100 residents.
It ranks as the joint worst area for robberies, with two recorded over the period, and is the third-worst area for violent and sexual offences, with 96 recorded.
Significantly fewer public order offences were reported in the area than in Hereford central, with just 17 logged, while it is the third-worst place in the county for criminal damage and arson, with 28 reports made.
Leominster central also saw the second-most drug offences in the county reported, with 12 reports logged.
Hinton
Coming in third place is Hinton, with 12.22 reports per 100 people.
The Hinton area, which covers Hinton Road, Hinton Crescent, Oak Avenue, Belmont Avenue, and Springfield Avenue was the second-worst area in the county for violent and sexual offences, with 101 offences reported.
The area was well behind others for public order offences, with just 14 reports made, but was the second-worst area of the county for criminal damage and arson, with 29 offences reported.
It was also in joint third place for weapons possession offences, with two reports made.
