PARKING will be banned in one road in a Herefordshire town centre for a day next month as drains are investigated.
Herefordshire Council said there would be no parking in Victoria Road, Kington, on January 13 for the investigation work.
It said the restriction would be in place between Elizabeth Road, near Ye Olde Tavern, and the junction of Victoria Court.
The road runs from the A44 to High Street.
In a public notice, the council said the ban would allow traffic to continue using the road while maintaining a safe working zone while work is taking place.
The council's website added there will also be stop/go boards and investigation will include cleaning, jetting and a CCTV survey of the drainage system.
