A FLOOD alert is in force for a Herefordshire river after heavy rainfall.
The River Lugg is set to rise in the south of Leominster after heavy rainfall over the past few days, the Environment Agency said.
This will lead to flooding of roads and farmland which is expected to continue for the next couple of days.
They expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Lugg from Stoke Prior to Mordiford.
Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days and the river is expected to remain high, but it is being closely monitored.
People are advised not to use low lying footpaths and roads near the river.
If you have problems call floodline on 0345 988 1188.
