NINE roads in rural Herefordshire will be closed at times over an eight-week period for drainage investigation.
Herefordshire Council contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places would be closing the roads as part of its drainage investigation programme in January and February.

The closures, a public notice said, were needed due to the work and likelihood of danger to the public.
The diversion routes for each closure will be signposted locally, it added.

- C1205 Rhydunnog Lane to Powys boundary, Longtown: three days from January 24
- U66209 Tarrington Court Road, Tarrington: four days from January 31
- C1110 from Risbury Mill to Pencombe via Risbury, Risbury: three days from February 14
- C1273 Ross Road, Brampton Abbotts: two days from February 21
- C1110 from Little Maidenhyde to C1116 via Pencombe, Pencombe: three days from February 23
- C1245 Garway to Gwent boundary, Garway: five days from February 28
