POLICE have issued an urgent appeal to people living on the Herefordshire border after a series of burglaries.
Police said the crimes were committed in Knighton, Carno and Cemmaes Road in the Dyfed-Powys Police area, as well as Lydbury North and Clunton in South Shropshire, on West Mercia Police's patch.
The burglaries and attempted burglaries, some of which were near the north Herefordshire border, happened over a 24-hour period last week.
Officers wanted anyone who spotted an "unfamiliar" white 4x4 or SUV between 3pm and 7pm on Saturday (January 8) to tell them.
"We're asking people to review any CCTV or dashcam footage they might have and get in touch, as it could help us with our investigation," the Dyfed-Powys Police officer said.
Information can be passed to Dyfed-Powys Police online via its website, or by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or calling 101.
