A BRAND-NEW restaurant has opened its doors in Hereford, serving up a selection of authentic Turkish dishes.
Istanbul Restaurant, in Hereford's Union Street, is bringing life back to a shop that has stood empty in the street for some years.
The restaurant, which features a modern interior decked out in the colours of the Mediterranean, with comfortable blue seating and wooden tables, will be serving up a wide selection of Turkish dishes.
Menu items include Turkish meze favourites such as falafel, sigara borek, and saksuka, fresh chargrilled fish, lamb, and chicken, kebabs, wraps, and pides - a Turkish take on pizza.
Furkan Tuncel said the new restaurant will be open from 11.30am to 11pm seven days a week.
