A TEENAGER has died at a school in the Malvern Hills.
Malvern College has released a statement saying the student died at the school over the weekend.
A spokesman for the school said: "We can sadly confirm the death of one of our pupils at Malvern College over the weekend.
"First and foremost, our thoughts and deepest condolences go to the pupil’s family.
"This is the most heartbreaking news imaginable and we have put in place additional, professional support for our whole community at this incredibly difficult time.
"Relevant authorities are involved in the matter and we are unable to comment further at this time."
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Police were called to Woodshears Road in Malvern at around 10.20am yesterday (January 10) following a report of a concern for safety.
"Upon arrival, sadly an 18-year-old male was found dead.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
