POLICE in Hereford are warning of a new social media craze which can see baked beans dumped over cars.
West Mercia Police said the new trend on TikTok was called "beaning" and it was being reported in the city.
PCSO Carol Marsh said that over recent months, police south of the Wye had been told about various foods, such as baked beans and ketchup, being thrown at houses and cars.

Enquiries were ongoing, she said, also warning parents about the latest TikTok trend.
She said: "Parents are you aware where your children are when they're not at home? Do you know what they're up to?
"Do you check their social media, especially TikTok?"

Videos of up to three minutes can be shared, with a number of trends over recent months.
As well as "beaning", crazes often include dances.
