A BANNED driver has been handed a suspended sentence after getting back behind the wheel.
Stephen Davies was found guilty of drink-driving and admitted driving while disqualified when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 45-year-old had driven a black BMW in Ross-on-Wye's Station Street while disqualified on October 14.
He had also driven the BMW in the car park of James Hall Court in Ross while over the limit on the same date. An evidential breath test revealed he had 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Davies, of James Hall Court, Ross-on-Wye, was handed a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, and disqualified from driving for 48 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £128 victim surcharge.
