- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- With their first attack of the game Hereford had a 14th minute lead with Ryan McLean cutting inside before finding Jaanai Gordon who swept the ball home.
- Moments later Tom Owen-Evans was brought down just outside the box and Maziar Kouhyar sent the resulting free-kick inches over the crossbar.
- However, Chorley were dominating possession and Brandon Hall had to come racing out to deny Brad Holmes who was racing into the box.
- However, the Bulls looked more potent and Ryan Lloyd saw his effort from outside the box denied by Matt Urwin with a fine save down low.
- From the resulting corner Tom Owen-Evans flicked on for defender Krystian Pearce who steered his effort just over.
- In an end to end first half Chorley went close with Adam Senior crossing for Jon Ustabasi inside the box who was just denied as Vincent threw himself at the ball.
- Ustabasi had Chorley's best chance on the half-time whistle forcing Hall into a fine save from close range.
- Hall was back in action minutes after the break this time picking Brad Holmes' effort out the bottom corner.
- Straight up the other end Hereford broke quickly through McLean and Owen-Evans saw his effort blocked.
- Chorley had a 58th minute equaliser after Gordon conceded a free-kick right on the edge of the box which Adam Blakeman whipped over the wall and into the net.
- Blakeman almost had his second in as many minutes but his rifled effort from range was saved by Hall.
- From the resulting corner Lewis Baines popped up through a mass of bodies but also saw his effort denied by Hall.
- The Bulls made changes to try and get back into the game but couldn't stop the barrage of Chorley attack.
- That eventually resulted in a third goal when a long throw-in found Brad Holmes who stabbed the ball home.
- With four minutes left on the clock Hall made another crucial save this time denying Billy Whitehouse who caught his effort well from outside the box.
- However, with a minute remaining Miles Storey gave the Bulls a lifeline forcing space out wide before cutting into the box and firing home.
