TWO uninsured Herefordshire drivers have been banned from the roads after they were caught behind the wheel.
Robert Alec Errington, 58, was proven guilty by magistrates in Newcastle Under Lyme.
The court heard Errington had been caught behind the wheel of a Renault without insurance on the A34 in Brocton, Staffordshire, on April 27.
Errington, of Widemarsh Street, Hereford, was fined £660 and disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending. He also received six penalty points and must pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Mindaugas Zujus, 23, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Zujus had been caught driving a Volkswagen Touran on the A4110 at Bewdley Bank in Herefordshire without insurance on June 1.
Zujus, of Mayhill Road, Ross-on-Wye, was fined £660 and disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending. He also received eight penalty points and must pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
