A MUCH-LOVED Hereford supporter who cheered on the Bulls for over 70 years has died, aged 96.
Doris Rogers loved backing the Bulls from the Len Weston Stand terrace and made many friends over the years.
Like many supporters, she watched the Giantkillers’ win over Newcastle and was one of the oldest supporters to attend Wembley in 2016 for the Bulls’ FA Vase Final against Morpeth.
OTHER NEWS:
Her grandson Paul, former head of sports content at the Hereford Times, said: “All of my chats with nan were about Hereford, and along with her family, it was her biggest love.
“I was always amazed how she carried on standing in the Len Weston Stand when she was well into her 80s and was so happy that she was able to see her beloved team at Wembley.”
