FRIENDS and family of missing woman Janet Edwards are in desperate search for information seven weeks after her disappearance.
Friends and family of the 66-year-old ex-nurse and avid runner are growing more and more concerned as the weeks pass.
Friend and club member Nicola Goodwin said: “We are so grateful for them for giving up their time.
“We are not the police, we are not private investigators, but we are friends of Jan, friends of her family, and people who might not even know her just want to try and find some information.”
“We have said all along somebody must know what’s happened they probably just don’t realise that their information is important.
“We are walking through the streets everyone’s split into groups to hopefully find something that will help the police carry on with their enquiries.
“It is very much a case of talking to people, knocking on doors, and making sure we respect their privacy as well.”

Ms Goodwin and club chairman Martin Flowers set up a base for anyone who may have found information.
Ms Edwards was last seen in Venns Lane at 3pm on December 10.
A sighting of her in Penns Grove Road in Hereford has since been reported, however this has not progressed into any further information.
She was last seen wearing a green Raab jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots with a white trim and sole.
West Mercia Police's Superintendent for Herefordshire Edd Williams previously said the disappearance was out of character, and anyone who has seen Ms Edwards since 3pm on December 10 should contact police on 101 or visit the police website, quoting incident reference 654i of December 10.
