A fire service spokesperson said a crew from Peterchurch fire station were called to reports of a crash involving two vehicles, one of which had ended up on its side, in the Golden Valley road at 3.55pm.
Firefighters and police worked to make the scene safe with the assistance of a local farmer, the spokesperson said.
The road was later reopened.
