A DRUG-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught in a Herefordshire town.
Joseph Joplin entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard the 38-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Connect van in Leominster's Bridge Street while over the drug-drive limit on July 24.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 2.5 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
Joplin, of Woodborough Road, Nottingham, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £32 victim surcharge.
