A CAFÉ in a Herefordshire town temporarily closed after staff said man fell into and smashed its window.
The Ginger Nut Café in Ross-on-Wye closed for part of the day yesterday (February 2) as they boarded up a window that faces onto the High Street.
Staff were quick to turn things around and the café reopened that same day, said staff.
Posting on Facebook, staff said: "It wasn't an explosion, everyone is fine."
Selling homemade cakes and coffee in the historic town, the café has recently had a refurbishment.
Staff said new flooring had been down by local firm Ross-on-Wye Flooring, and more comfy seating had been put into the building in High Street.
The café changed hands in 2021 for the first time in 13 years, and was rebranded from Pots and Pieces Teashop and Giftshop to The Ginger Nut Café.
