AN OUTDOOR cinema and film festival is coming to Herefordshire this summer.
Picnic in the Park film Festival featuring films and live bands will be held from Friday, July 8, until Sunday, July 10 at Hereford's Bishops Meadow.
It has been organised by Outdoor Cinema, a company which tours the UK with its Open Air Cinema Experience, and the film festival concept is new for 2022.
Five films will be shown across the weekend that will suit all ages, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Mamma Mia!, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Dirty Dancing.
Each film will be part of a mini festival lasting four or five hours with a local live band performing before.
Organiser Mo Davies said: "It will be unlike any other outdoor cinema experience you've been to, and we will have a fun-filled evening of entertainment and dancing.
"This is not a cinema experience or even an outdoor cinema experience, this is a full-on film festival vibe."
Tickets for each mini festival start at £15 per adult or £9 for under-16s, which can be found at cinemaoutdoor.co.uk.
Local musicians who would like to be involved can email info@openairfilm.co.uk.
