A HEREFORDSHIRE hairdresser is moving and refurbishing an old building 30 years on from when they started.
Jazz Hair has transformed a once-empty building into a new and improved salon in Leominster.
Jazz Hair was founded in 1990 by Cathy Williams and her husband Harvey, borne out of a desire to create a salon that would provide great service whilst being 'truly creative, revolutionary, and at the forefront of hairdressing' in Herefordshire.
Since then, the business has grown from a team of three to nine and moved from its original Chapel Walk location to Burgess Street.
Their new salon is still in Burgess Street, just a stone's throw away from the old premises, and is now open and ready for clients.
Mr and Mrs Williams said they had decided to make the move to a smaller shop, putting their old shop on the market in October.
The coronavirus pandemic left many businesses struggling, with some even closing after losing trade, but Jazz Hair have powered through.
In 2015 they celebrated 25 years with a gala evening in Westfield Farm, Kingsland.
And the evening, which included an auction, raised £11,500 for St Michael's Hospice and All Angels' Church, Kingsland.
