A PARTY-GOER has been banned from the roads after taking drugs.
Constantin Andrea Tangerica admitted drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Police had spotted Tangerica behind the wheel of a Mercedes in Hereford's Belmont Road at 2am on June 26, prosecutor Shafquat Reaz said.
He was stopped and arrested after failing a roadside drug test. An evidential blood test taken in custody revealed he had 187 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine and 2.5 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The respective legal limits are 50 and two.

Marilena Di Vitantonio, for Tangerica, said the 31-year-old said she agreed with the facts outlined by the prosecutor and that there were no aggravating features to the case.
"He tells me he had been to a party the day before and accepts he smoked some cannabis and took a very small amount of cocaine," Miss Di Vitantonio said.
"There was no problem with the standard of his driving, but clearly these drugs were still in his system.
"He is a carer and receives a carer's allowance. This is not really a job, but he says it is one. He runs errands for them and gets them their shopping, so this will make that more difficult for him."
Tangerica, of Chandlers Close, Kingstone, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £134. He must also pay costs of £100 and a £34 victim surcharge.
