AN AUDI driver was twice the limit when he was caught in a busy Hereford street.
Julius Vaitkevicius entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 35-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of an Audi S3 in Hereford's Eign Street while over the drink-drive limit on January 9.
An evidential breath test revealed he had 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Vaitkevicius, of Willow Close, Credenhill, was fined £400 and disqualified from driving for 20 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
