A HEREFORDSHIRE cider thief has been up before the magistrates after stealing bottles of Westons Vintage.
Daniel Jones entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard 35-year-old Jones had stolen three bottles of Weston's Vintage Cider worth £5.37 from Aldi in Hereford on February 2.
He was also in breach of a conditional discharge order issued on September 1.
Jones, of Springfield Avenue, Hereford, was detained until the court rose with detention deemed served by time already spent in custody.
No action was taken on the breach of his conditional discharge and no order for costs was made due to time spent in the cells.
