A man has died in a crash overnight in Malvern, West Midlands Ambulance Service has said.
The ambulance service, which covers Herefordshire and Worcestershire and the wider region, was called to reports of a car on its roof in Pickersleigh Road, Malvern at 1.15am.
One ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor and a BASICS doctor to the scene.
But despite best efforts, a spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said one man died at the scene.
They said: “On arrival, we discovered a car that had come to rest on its roof after colliding with street furniture.
“There was one patient from the car, a man, who had suffered critical injuries in the incident.
“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support but sadly, it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
