A HEREFORDSHIRE drug-driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught driving while one microgramme over the legal limit.
James Ronald William Eggerton entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 24-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Citroen Berlingo in Hereford's Berrington Street while over the drug-drive limit on September 29.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 51 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.
Eggerton, of Spond, Kington, was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
