AN INDEPENDENT Hereford shop is set to move to a new building next week.
Temple Records was established in 2005 and specialises in selling vinyl and refurbishing decks for DJs, as well as providing sound and lighting equipment for events.
Its owner Guy Davies is hoping the move from Bastion Mews to Bridge Street will bring in new customers and help the shop become a music hub for the community.
Mr Davies said: "I started the business as a way of subsidising my own vinyl addiction.
"I've often found the suspension in my car was completely ruined because it was weighed down with records.
"I found the business was a way to share my passion with other music lovers."
The move will allow more space for his ever-expanding collection and to develop the turntable refurbishment side of the business which continues to thrive.
Mr Davies said: "The size of the place will make it a lot more accessible for my regular customers to pop in, will hopefully bring in some new ones and give creatives a place to meet.
"Music is a great way of bringing people together."
