THREE Herefordshire drivers have been handed hefty penalties after failing to identify the drivers of their vehicles to police.
Diane Kathleen Lewis, 72, was proven guilty by magistrates in Llanelli.
The court heard Lewis had failed to identify the driver of a Peugeot Partner Combi van who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Powys to police on September 20.
Lewis, of Cheltenham Avenue, Hereford, was fined £660 and received six penalty point. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Bogdan-Mitica Moruz, 32, was proven guilty by magistrates in Boston.
The court heard Moruz had failed to identify the driver of a Mercedes who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Lincolnshire to police on October 14.
Moruz, of Monkland, Herefordshire, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Susan Gray, 58, was proven guilty by magistrates in Cannock.
The court heard Gray had failed to identify the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Staffordshire to police on October 29.
Gray, of Millers Close, Leominster, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
