FIVE flood warnings have now been issued for the river Wye in Herefordshire.
The Environment Agency said river levels are forecast to rise after heavy rain.
Here is the latest, as of 8.30am, from the Environment Agency, with the flood defences being installed in Hereford on Sunday afternoon.

River Wye flood warnings
There are five flood warnings for the river Wye. These are from Hay to Hereford, north Hereford, south Hereford, Rotherwas and Hereford to Ross-on-Wye.
Predicted peaks:
- Hay-on-Wye 4.0 to 4.4m Monday morning
- Bredwardine 6.1 to 6.4m Monday morning
- Belmont 5.7 to 6.1m Monday afternoon
- Old Wye Bridge 4.9m to 5.3m on Monday afternoon
- Mordiford 5.0 to 5.4m on Monday evening
- Ross-on-Wye 4.0 to 4.5m on Monday evening
The Environment Agency said: "River levels have risen at the Old Wye Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.
"Consequently, flooding of property roads and farmland is expected.
"We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in North Hereford including Greyfriars area."
It also expects flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Hereford, such as the B4399 Holme Lacy Road and Rotherwas, Ross-on-Wye, Hay-on-Wye, the A438 between Letton and Willersley and Whitney-on-Wye.
A flood warning means you need to act: flooding is expected. You should do all the actions for a flood alert, but also:
- Move vehicles to higher ground if it’s safe to do so
- Move family and pets to safety
- Move important items upstairs or to a safe place in your property, starting with cherished items and valuables, then furniture and furnishings
- turn off gas, electricity and water supplies if it’s safe to do so; never touch an electrical switch if you’re standing in water
- If you have property protection products such as flood barriers, or air brick covers, use them now

Flood warning for River Lugg at Kenwater
The agency says: "River levels have risen at the Osborne Place river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall.
"Consequently, flooding of property is imminent. We expect flooding to affect properties in and around Vicarage Street and Bridge Street Sports field may be impacted.
"We expect river levels to remain high for several days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences.
"Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded."
Flood warning for River Arrow at Eardisland
The agency said: "River levels have risen at the Eardisland river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding (of property) is imminent.
"We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Eardisland. We are closely monitoring the situation.
"Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services. Please move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with floodwater."
Flood warning for River Teme at Leintwardine and Walford
The Environment Agency said: "River levels remain high at the Leintwardine river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property roads and farmland is expected to continue.
"We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in Leintwardine and Walford including the A4113 at Leintwardine."
Predicted peak: Leintwardine 2.3m to 2.7m Monday morning.
It added: "Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Tuesday. We are closely monitoring the situation.
"Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and checking defences. Please avoid contact with floodwater and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety."
Flood warning for River Rea at Newnham Bridge
Affecting the Herefordshire border, the Environment Agency said there was also a flood warning for Newnham Bridge, near Tenbury.
It said: "River levels have peaked and are starting to fall at the Newnham Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.
"We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Newnham Bridge. We are closely monitoring the situation.
"Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
Flood warning for River Teme at Ludlow
The agency said: "River levels have risen at the Ludlow (Teme) river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding (of property) is imminent.
"We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in Ludlow.
"Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high throughout the day.
"We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services. Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with floodwater."
Flood warning for River Teme at Stanford Bridge
There is also a warning further down the Teme at Stanford Bridge, between Bromyard and Stourport.
The agency said: "River levels have risen at the Stanford Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property to continue.
"We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Stanford Bridge. We expect river levels to remain high until Tuesday.
"We are closely monitoring the situation. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety."
