A CANNABIS-growing man has had his plants seized and destroyed after they were discovered in Hereford.
Steven Thomas entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 41-year-old had been caught cultivating cannabis in Hereford on September 19.
He was found to have grown nine cannabis plants, a class B controlled drug, magistrates were told.
Thomas, of Spofford Street, Hereford, was handed a two-year community order and fined £50. He must also pay costs of £185 and a £95 victim surcharge.
The cannabis plants were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
