ONE flood warning remains in force for Herefordshire this morning after Storm Franklin saw river levels soar.
The Environment Agency said a flood warning is still in force for the river Wye between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, with river levels remaining high but falling at the Mordiford and Ross gauges after peaking in Mordiford at 5.13 metres on Monday night and at 4.71 metres at Ross on Tuesday morning.
River levels at Mordiford and Ross are currently still above normal levels, at 3.926 metres and 4.188 metres respectively, but are continuing to fall.
