THE police helicopter has been involved in a search of a Herefordshire village after reports of a man with a weapon.
West Mercia Police confirmed the National Police Air Service had been called to Bosbury, near Ledbury with local reports suggesting it was also seen over the town itself.
A spokesperson said at around 10pm on Wednesday (February 23), officers received a report of a man carrying a weapon and criminal damage at a property in Forge Bank, Bosbury.

They said that officers went to the scene, and with help from the police helicopter, searched the area.
Police said on Thursday that an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and remains in custody.
No injuries were reported and enquiries were ongoing.
