FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to rescue a man stuck in a van-mounted cherry picker in Hereford.
A worker for Openreach appeared to have been stuck in the bucket of a van, used to reach heights.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Hereford and Ewyas Harold were called to the Westfaling Street area of the city at 3.46pm on Monday.
They said they were called to someone stuck in a maintenance vehicle, which was similar to a cherry picker.
The call to emergency services referred to the worker being stuck in a "bucket".
It is believed the vehicle was a type of aerial work platform, a van-mounted cherry pickerwhich became unstable and left the worker stranded.
