TWO Herefordshire drivers have been handed hefty penalties after they failed to identify the drivers of their cars to police.
Emma Oliver, 44, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Oliver had failed to identify the driver of a Ford car who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police on August 20.
Oliver, of Belle Orchard, Ledbury, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. She must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Arbaas Ditta, 46, was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard Ditta had failed to identify the driver of a Ford who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police on June 30.
Ditta, of Somertown Road, Newport, was fined £660, disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
