HOMES in a Herefordshire town are without power this morning after firefighters were called to reports of an arcing cable.
A fire service spokesperson said a crew from Leominster fire station was called to reports of a high voltage cable arcing and giving off flames just after 7am this morning (March 14).

The crew worked to ensure scene safety, liaised with Western Power Distribution, and assisted with access.
Western Power Distribution said 86 homes in the HR6 8PR, HR6 8PP, HR6 8HW, HR6 8HP, and HR6 8HL postcodes are without power this morning due to a high voltage incident.
Power is expected to be restored by 12pm today.
