THE Knife Angel which stood in front of Hereford Cathedral last year has been criticised as it went on display in Worcester.
The large monument has been drawing huge crowds in Worcester, but some feel it is facing the wrong way.
It is looking out towards the Cathedral from its position in Cathedral Square.

But keen photographers and tourists feel the 27-feet tall statue is the wrong way around and should have Worcester Cathedral as the backdrop.
Currently, anyone snapping a picture of the monument will have Cathedral Square restaurants such as Five Guys in the background.

The statue made out of 100,000 knives arrived in Hereford in June 2021 ahead of a month-long project.
After 18 months of preparation, the Knife Angel arrived in the city centre ahead of four weeks of events aimed at raising awareness of knife crime and other forms of violence.
When the monument was in Hereford, with its backdrop the stunning cathedral, it had a good reception.
David Glover said: “Absolutely stunning and beautiful.
“The hands are a feature saying, please stop knife crime.”
Keen photographer Karen Friedman said: “It’s impressive.
“It must have been quite a task making it, and a moving experience making it.”
