- A special event is being held in Hereford today as people who died from Covid are remembered - two years on from the first lockdown.
- Covid-19 Families Hereford is holding an event in the grounds of Hereford Cathedral at 11am on Wednesday (March 23).
- This will commemorate National Day of Reflection for those who were lost during the pandemic.
- • It will include a minute’s silence at 12pm with the support of St Michael’s Hospice who will provide bereavement counselling in Herefordshire.
- • There will also be speakers, prayers, and a choir.
- • A list of names who lost their lives to Covid-19 – either directly or indirectly due to delays in diagnosis or treatment - will be read out.
