A Herefordshire hospice has announced the return of a popular annual event – but it will be the last one ever.
St Michael's Hospice in Bartestree, near Hereford, has announced that 2022 will be the final year for its Paint Runner.
Participants will once again be invited to soak up the sun and drench themselves and their families in colour on the 5km course at King George V playing fields in Hereford.
Around 100 tickets have already been sold for the event which takes place on Saturday, June 18.

Matt Ashcroft, events and community fundraising manager for St Michael's, said: "There was an original plan for us to have the final Paint Runner in 2020, but Covid restrictions got in the way of giving the event the send-off it deserves.
"We thought that this gives anyone who hasn't experienced the event before the chance to join us."
Mr Ashcroft said that Paint Runner Now or Never will be a huge celebration of colour and a fitting send off for the event, which will be replaced by a different family occasion next year.
He said: "The Paint Runner is all about fun and is an event where everyone can gather and just let loose and have a great time."
"There's always a party atmosphere at the event and this final year will be bigger and better than ever. All paint must go!”
