HEREFORDSHIRE Council has said it will be banning lorries from a road in the county for two weeks.
In a public notice, the council said heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) would not be allowed to use the B4221 in Upton Bishop for two weeks from Monday (March 28).
It said that the ban was due to a privately-owned wall being repaired, meaning the road wouldn't be wide enough for lorries.
It means the B4221, which runs between Upton Bishop and Ross-on-Wye, will be restricted to lorries from Windy Hollows to Revells Lane, 50 metres south of the B4224.
"The said restriction is required due to insufficient road with for HGVs during private wall repair and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place," the council's public notice said.
