A HEREFORDSHIRE drink-driver has been handed a hefty penalty after he was caught behind the wheel while more than twice the limit.
Marcus Jenkins entered a guilty plea to magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 45-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Ranger in Lower Bridge Court Road, near Brilley, Herefordshire, while over the drink-drive limit on February 25.

An evidential breath test revealed he had 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Jenkins, of Whitney-on-Wye, Herefordshire, was disqualified from driving for 23 months and fined £1,500. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £150 victim surcharge.
